On April 21, between 11:15AM PST and 11:40AM PST, SMS delivery to customers in the US for two-factor authentication experienced delivery failures. Keeper utilizes Amazon AWS for SMS delivery services through the SNS and Pinpoint services. A configuration issue with the Pinpoint service related to sending limits was reached, causing the disruption. The security team was notified of the failure rates and quickly addressed the issue with Amazon to resolve the issue. If you have any questions please contact security@keepersecurity.com.
